But about the camera-the new model has a 12 megapixel front-facing camera, with larger pixels than on the previous Nexus 5, and a larger screen. In the Android 6.0 CDD, Google has changed the language again from “strongly RECOMMENDED” to “MUST”, therefore requiring full disk encryption for all new devices released after Android 6.0. Customers then pay an additional $10 for each gigabyte of data that they plan to use per month.

But, as Android users, we need to get educated on ways to mitigate the vulnerabilities we all are – and continue to be – exposed to. Meanwhile, a few lucky owners are reported to have already received their Nexus 5X via Carphone Warehouse.
