Neymar’s agent advises Barcelona star to finish career at Real Madrid
The former agent of Barcelona star Neymar has responded to the embargo the Brazilian suffered due to tax issues in his home country, ironically suggesting that his ex-client would enjoy a quieter life if he moved to arch-rivals Real Madrid.

The attacker recently revealed that he knew of the interest from United manager Louis van Gaal, but nothing concrete was made to further his negotiations, ensuring his stay at the Camp Nou.
Wagner Ribeiro, who represented the Brazil captain when he was a mere starlet at Santos, has taken aim at Neymar’s father in an open letter. “But give Neymar a few more years of football, let him finish his career in Europe, preferably at Real Madrid“.
“Take your money, take it to tax havens, legally, of course”, the agent advised, tongue firmly in cheek. Close your businesses, the Institute of Praia Grande, and go enjoy your life on Mediterranean beaches.
FC Barcelona’s Brazilian superstar Neymar has found himself in the middle of tax evasion allegations, and has had his assets in the region of £31m frozen by a Brazilian federal court. “If you had done things different and not fought with “sycophants” and stayed in Madrid and been naturalised Spanish, different from what your conscience told you to do, the people would not be against you”, the post continued.

The agent believes that Neymar would not have been targeted by the authorities if he had moved to Real Madrid, a club he had a trial at while still a youngster. He didn’t want to pay for the services of two journalists who offered their services as advisors to his son in 2009. In Brazil, when the poor become rich they have to be dumb.
