NFC East Battle on Saturday Night
The Redskins (7-7) would complete a worst-to-first journey and capture their first NFC East title since Robert Griffin’s rookie season with a victory at Philadelphia (6-8) on Saturday night. If the Eagles come out on top they will pull into a first-lace tie with the Redskins and open up the NFC East, taking control of their own playoff destiny. They would secure their second division title in three years if they beat the Redskins and the Giants (6-8) on January 3. The game is scheduled for an 8:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the NFL Network.

Washington held the Eagles to 20 points back in Week 4, but DeSean Jackson missed that game and he’s back tonight.
The Eagles offense still looks like it provides more questions than answers as DeMarco Murray carried the ball twice for three yards last week, feeding into the notion of a rift between he and coach Chip Kelly. And it’s not a coincidence that Cousins played the best football of his career during that stretch – in the last four games he’s thrown eight touchdown passes and just two interceptions. The Eagles secondary will likely be without starting Byron Maxwell, so Cousins could be primed for a big day if Philadelphia’s pass rush isn’t able to generate pressure. Eagles would be eliminated from playoffs with loss…. Now healthy for 2015, the explosive receiver is catching a groove, and looking to exploit a pass defense allowing 259.1 passing yards (24th), and 25.9 points per game (28th). Philadelphia faces a Washington run defense that ranks 28th in the league with 129.8 yards allowed per game. Redskins are 1-5 on road. This one is too close to call, but since I have to pick one of them … The Redskins have the better record at 7-7, but they have not beaten a single team with a winning record. Obviously, I haven’t had many chances to. Philadelphia bounced back from a three-game skid with wins over New England and Buffalo before it was demolished at home by the Arizona Cardinals 40-17 last week, putting it in a win-out situation.
I’m pushing my chips all-in on Sam Bradford.

“I think that’s why you put all that work in during the offseason”. While it’s still questionable whether he’s the future for Washington, the front office likes him enough that they’re reportedly pursuing a contract extension. But in recent weeks, there has been a change.J-Matt (after reportedly playing through a hand injury) has upped his game massively in recent weeks.don’t believe us? PROBABLE: LB Will Compton (neck), DE Kedric Golston (calf), DE Jason Hatcher (knee, neck), WR DeSean Jackson (foot, knee), S Jeron Johnson (hamstring), DE Frank Kearse (finger), LB Ryan Kerrigan (toe), TE Jordan Reed (shoulder), LB Keenan Robinson (shoulder), RB Chris Thompson (shoulder). He’s now up to 22 touchdown passes on the year, which are more than he’s thrown in the past three years combined. The Washington Redskins’ quarterback does. “It’s going to be a hell of a challenge for us to step up and beat them”. Here are some things I took away from watching the tape of the teams’ first meeting this year and how they could impact Saturday’s contest.
