NFC Playoff Picture entering Week 17
If the Kansas City Chiefs lose any of their last two games, including their Week 16 game against Cleveland, it will make Pittsburgh’s road to the No. 5 seed much easier.

No. 3 seed: If the Broncos lose to Cincinnati on Monday and beat San Diego, they would be 11-5.
The NFC is a little simpler: Five teams are in – Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay, Washington and Seattle.
The Cardinals, NFC West winners, clinched a first-round bye with their win over Green Bay and close the regular season at home to Seattle.
The Chiefs, Steelers and Jets can keep the pressure on the Broncos by earning wins on Sunday. And it’s still not going to be enough: They need help from the Bucs against the Bears and the 49ers against the Lions. The Eagles and New York Giants were already eliminated in the NFC Wild Card race, but still had postseason hopes alive, thanks to the lackluster records in the NFC East. However, the highest seed they could grab in this scenario is the No. 3 seed, which would at least give the team another home game in 2015. Even a loss to the Bengals while the Chiefs, Steelers and Jets win out will leave Denver out of the playoffs. To clinch the division they need to win one of their remaining games and for the Steelers to lose one of theirs.
No. 2 seed: The Broncos would get this seed – which includes a first-round playoff bye and second-round game at home – by winning their final two games and a New England win at Miami. The Jets can clinch their wild-card spot with a Week 17 win over the Bills or a Steelers loss. Either the Texans or Colts will wind up as the AFC South victor.
Carolina Panthers: At 14-0, the only way they don’t finish as the #1 team in the NFC, playing the Falcons and Buccaneers to finish the season, is if they lose their next two games and Arizona win their two against Green Bay and Seattle. It can clinch the North with a victory over the Vikings on Sunday.
Browns @ Chiefs: The Chiefs now have one of the AFC’s playoff spots, but they have one of the best defenses in the league. If the Jets somehow beat the Patriots, the Steelers winning won’t change their playoff hopes, but it could make for a very tense couple of weeks for Steelers fans.
This is for those of you who believe the Chiefs can still win the AFC West. KC needs to go plus-one over the Broncos in the final two games to win the division. We want the Steelers as the #6 seed to either take down the Bengals or Broncos.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Only losing out while the Jets win one of their games put the Steelers out of the picture. If the Steelers win one of their next two games and the Jets lose one of their next two, the Steelers have secured their path to the playoffs.
