Miami, hosting its first Super Bowl since 2010, will overtake New Orleans – which has hosted ten – as the most prolific host city. Super Bowl LV (55) will be held at the new $2.6 billion soon to be built, entertainment complex in Inglewood, where the Rams will call home once it is completed in 2019.
New Orleans and Tampa were involved in the bidding as well but widely had been regarded as long shots. New Orleans lost out to new stadiums in Atlanta and Minneapolis in consecutive years. Atlanta’s Super Bowl bid of $46 million will be funded with a mix of private and public funds, including $10 million in sales tax relief that was passed by the Georgia Legislature earlier this year, $16 million from the city’s hotel-motel tax, and $20 million from corporate donations. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons is said to be going for the goal of launching a $1.4 billion Mercedes Benz Stadium in 2017.
This will be the Super Bowl game in the Los Angeles area since 1993 when Super Bowl XXVIII was played at the Rose Bowl between the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.
Next season’s Super Bowl (LI) will be at Houston’s NRG Stadium, and Super Bowl LII will be at Minnesota’s new U.S. Bank Stadium.

On Location will offer packages at different price levels, and it will set aside a number of packages for fans who don’t decide to go to the Super Bowl until after their team makes it to the big game.
Super Bowl LIII in 2019 will be the third Super Bowl that the city of Atlanta has seen.
