NFL’s ‘Color Rush’ jerseys a problem for colorblind fans
The National Football League is obviously trying to get more viewers by implementing these flashy uniforms, but it may have backfired.

Viewers with red-green colorblindness said on social media that the teams’ special “Color Rush” jerseys appeared to be almost identical, with the Jets’ bright kelly green and the Bills’ bold red mixing to a tiresome greyish green.
Here’s a screengrab of a play during the game, according to a simulation run by Deadspin of what it looked like to fans with red-green colorblindness. The standard television test did not account for color blindness for fans at home that became apparent last night.
Next Thursday, November 19, it’ll be the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonvile Jaguars; November 26, it’s Carolina at Dallas (although the Cowboys are listed as wearing white, the objective of which seems unclear) and Tampa Bay and St. Louis will square off December 17. You can make one off it with his Color Rush Nike jersey. But the uniforms weren’t so amusing to color-blind fans who had trouble telling the teams apart. Eight team’s Color Rush uniforms will be unveiled during Thursday night games this season.
That shouldn’t be a problem for those with red-green colour blindness, who see more vibrant yellows and blues.
Fans complained about the team’s jerseys on Twitter.
