The MVP quarterback’s mobility was severely limited during the final month of the season after he strained his calf against Tampa Bay in Week 16. He played for several teams and even appeared in a Super Bowl with the Falcons in 1998.

The Packers list guard Don Barclay, a 2012 undrafted free agent, as Bulaga’s backup. “If you’re out at practice, he’s the first one out there, everyone’s leaving he’s still out there”.

“The muscle strains are very disappointing and the ability to run I think is an added weapon for our offense”, Rodgers said. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s just in his progressions, other guys may have come open”, Sherman said.

NFC title-game losers are on a bad streak when trying to turn the tables on their conqueror the following year. “That’s an important part of our offense when the defense is covering down”. On the ground, Eddie Lacy rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown in 19 attempts.

The 47-year-old spent nine years in the National Football League in the 1990s, including a year-and-a-half with Green Bay.

In Week 1, the Packers garnered 189 yards in passing and 133 yards in rushing. “You’ve got to figure out where he’s at every play”. “He’s a marvelous player in terms of awareness and vision and anticipation and all of that. We’re definitely excited for the challenge”.

Seattle is coming off of an embarrassing Week 1 loss against the St. Louis Rams.

After the Percy Harvin experiment didn’t work out, Seattle traded a first-round pick and veteran center Max Unger to New Orleans to acquire the 6-foot-7, 265-pound tight end. In receiving, Devante Adams caught four times for 59 yards and James Jones caught four times for 51 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, Green Bay beat the New York Jets, 31-24, in 2013 the Packers beat the Washington Redskins, 38-20, and in 2010, the Green Bay defeated the Buffalo Bills, 34-7. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns in 32-for-41 passes.

Defensive coordinator Dom Capers also could use Micah Hyde in that capacity. Cornerback Tharold Simon (toe), linebacker Bruce Irvin (rib) and right tackle Garry Gilliam (rib) were all considered game-day decisions, but none were ruled out.

Packers safety Morgan Burnett was healthy enough to be active after sitting out of the opener.
