NFL Team Officials Liken Colin Kaepernick To Traitor: ‘F-k That Guy’
Could there be a less congenial venue for Kaepernick to display his oafish and ill-considered view of the country that has rewarded him so generously?

Kaepernick, 28, was slammed this week for not standing during the national anthem on Friday.
San Francisco 49ers coach Chip Kelly said the team plans on playing Kaepernick during the Chargers game “just because he’s only got 13 snaps so far in the preseason”, according to a stream of his press conference.
Amid Colin Kaepernick’s protest over the USA national anthem, the San Diego Chargers will salute the military when the San Francisco 49ers play on Thursday night. In an email, he said he was also exhausted of people using veterans to argue against Kaepernick’s stance, “especially when that flag and anthem has been racist towards people historically, treated Veterans like crap in the past and now, and in some cases [using] us as a vehicle for their ignorant agendas”.
It is quite literally an archaic ode to American slavery; however, like racism in contemporary times, it is often ignored or conveniently forgotten – a minor controversy, by comparison, to an athlete making a peaceful protest for many, it would seem. Many posting to Twitter to say things like “I serve to protect your freedoms, not a song” and that they’ve been fighting for our 1st amendment right to freedom of speech, and nobody should be silenced. And to also dislike him.
“I’ll tell you this”, Harrison said.
Instances like that give Kaepernick “every right to stand up for what he believes in”, Lochette said.
“I have great respect for men and women that have fought for this country”.
Matt Lorscheider, a former Marine, echoed Lochette’s sentiments.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color”, Kaepernick told NFL Media after the August 26 game against the Packers.
