NFL votes to allow Rams to move to Los Angeles
The suit claims the Rams violated the law in connection with ticket and merchandise sales going back to 2010, and is seeking for people to be refunded. The Rams wanted to move to nearby Inglewood, and was approved 30-2 after other options did not get the 24 votes needed for approval.

But if the Rams pull it off with no major missteps and a reasonably successful on-field product, this move could be extraordinarily rewarding for owner Stan Kroenke and his lavish Inglewood stadium complex.
A US senator has begun drafting a bill created to reclaim public money from professional sports teams that prematurely leave their cities, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He was six years old when the Raiders and Rams moved out of L.A. and didn’t have a local team to root for.
The Rams actually made Los Angeles their home for nearly 50 years before they transferred to St. Louis before the start of the 1995 National Football League season. “There wasn’t a lot of them back then”. And I think our job is to blend that with now having a hometown team. We have historic players.
The Rams announced they were moving to Los Angeles from St. Louis on Tuesday, and the Chargers were given a one-year option to join them.
The Rams also have a home game against the Giants that will be played in London.
But, we’re also about to enter a world-class stadium that should be one of the best. However, La Canfora has reported that the school changed its mind on Tuesday and is now willing to take on two temporary tenants, which is big news for the Chargers. “We have a fan base that has supported this organization for 50 years”. San Diego voters would have to approve those funds though, something that could now happen. The NFL is offering $100 million to the team (the Chargers or the Raiders or both) that will stay in their home market.
Spanos was noncommittal Tuesday when asked whether he was willing to reopen talks to keep his team in San Diego. We are honored to be the vessel that returned history and the legacy of the National Football League to the region.
Q. The Chargers have been trying to get a new stadium for more than a decade, and the team has a strained relationship with city leadership.
The Chargers could go “all in” on a San Diego stadium initiative.
Chargers owner Dean Spanos is expected to decide within the next month whether to pursue a deal with the Rams in Inglewood or try to resurrect stadium efforts in San Diego. That means the Rams will be spending the next three seasons at the Coliseum. They haven’t been talking with city and county officials because they want a downtown location and the city is pushing the idea to build a new stadium on the Mission Valley site where Qualcomm now sits.

Oakland fans made their feelings felt in a Christmas Eve game between the Raiders and San Diego Chargers. The closest stadium option to the Coliseum would be the “Basic Traditional Stadium” but there are others to choose from including more futuristic looking ones that would be closer in nature to what they’ll eventually play in. You know what I’m saying? “My lease at the Coliseum is expired…” “…We’ll see where the Raider Nation ends up here”.
