NFL Week 3 Colts vs. Titans Picks & Predictions
It seldom happens to Andrew Luck, who usually leads a good life. Only three – the 1992 Chargers, 1995 Lions and 1998 Bills – have recovered to make the playoffs.

The Jets successfully shut down the Colts offense for nearly the entire game, only allowing 7 points in the final quarter. They’ll play their first game at CenturyLink Field, where they might have the best home-field advantage in the league.
The Colts did not expect to find themselves in such a perilous position already in the season, however, at 0-2 coming into Week 3 it is imperative that Indianapolis find a way to claim a win today to avoid falling to 0-3.
Dropped passes, tipped balls, the lack of a consistent ground game and playing two of the NFL’s better defenses have put Indy at a disadvantage, too.
Andrew Luck delivered his statement with a disgusted glare. There are only losses, and the quarterback is no longer getting a pass on his involvement with it. But, if the Colts continue to fail look for Irsay and Grigson to pin this on Pagano. Pagano emphasized the next day how much he appreciates Luck’s skills, and he does. That’s been the case for three years now, has it not? Luck attempted 49 passes in the loss.
Clearly, Luck has played a part in what’s gone wrong.
But the Colts sacked the rookie three times. Through two weeks in the NFL, Mariota has the highest quarterback rating in the entire league (129.9). Last year, that pressured passing rate went down to 36.2 percent. Toler said Wednesday that he is just waiting on his doctors and the team’ trainers to give him the green light to return on a regular basis.
But pressure isn’t the only thing to blame for Luck’s stumbles. Receiver T.Y. Hilton has been slowed with a knee injury, but he’s unsafe. The Colts will need to rely on Coby Fleener as Dwayne Allen is out this week with an ankle injury. He picked off Mariota again to give the ball back to Luck. The Colts have been a mess early this season, giving extra possessions via turnovers while letting Tyrod Taylor and Ryan Fitzpatrick move the ball at will in the first two contests.
The other big problem?
But not all is lost. He also is among the most hard quarterbacks to bring down because of his astonishing strength, which is among the reasons he has been sacked only twice this season despite constant harassment from opposing defenders. With the Titans and Jaguars up next, the sailing on offense should be much smoother.
By hitting the AFC South road.
Titans assistant head coach/defense Dick LeBeau got a laugh out of it when I asked him about Luck’s success “climbing the pocket” and he got big laughs at the conclusion of his response. The result: New York is off to its first 2-0 start since 2011.
Start ’em: The primary thing for basically all of the Indianapolis weapons right now is “benefit of the doubt”.
For the second week in a row, the “amazing weapons” at Luck’s disposal can not win their one-on-one matchups.
Eddie George rushed for 162 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown run to help lead Tennessee during its run to Super Bowl XXXIV. Colts vs Titans live stream: Watch Indianapolis… Even so, after the way he showed out against Jameis Winston in the Week 1 “W” over Tampa Bay, the Titans are at minimum an improved team from last year’s two win disaster.
