NH Sen. Ayotte to support, not endorse, Trump

This morning, he promised to choose someone with the skill set needed to be president.

Trump says he likely will “go the political route” in that choice.

His vice presidential pick would definitely be a Republican and would “most likely” be an elected official, he said.

Ben Carson has also been one of Trump’s most vocal supporters since he endorsed the real estate mogul after dropping out of the race himself. Of his timetable, the Times reports that Trump said he would be announcing the committee members “soon”.

“He is not the monster that people clearly try to portray him”, he said of Trump.

Donald Trump has been a one-man wrecking crew for political expectations, beating and upending the normal order of politics from the day he launched his campaign until Tuesday night, when he effectively wrapped up the Republican nomination.

Trump told MSNBC he wants help passing congressional legislation “so we don’t have to go the executive order route as much as (President) Obama did, you know, where he can’t get anything approved so he just keeps signing executive orders”.

He later added that “I think I’ll be absolutely great on the military and military strategy”.

During a town hall event with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews earlier this year, Trump had clearly stated that “there has to be some form of punishment” if the US followed through with his platform of banning abortion. “I don’t even want certain people that were extraordinarily nasty”.

When asked if his VP will be Republican, Trump stated, “Yes, that’s true”. But Trump would never schlong Christie that way (I think).
