Christmas Eve Forecast: Record-shattering warmth today
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in some parts of the country, but in others it feels more like a typical spring day. Green Christmas wins out this year with record-breaking temperatures making for a holiday that could get Heat Miser singing.

In the end the choir emerged victorious, with 127,000 sales of ‘Bridge Over You’, well ahead of Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ (which is FUCKING AMAZING FYI) at 97,000.

A police source told the ABC that the Merrylands home of Salihy raided this morning was also raided earlier this month. Police say their investigation disrupted the terror plot.

The choir said “it’s a brilliant celebration for the NHS across the country, so well done and thank you everyone”.

Turkish forces and PKK engage in intense clashes
The three-decade conflict between Turkish security forces and the PKK rebels have claimed the lives of more than 30,000 people. Turkey and Russia have been at odds since Ankara downed a Russian jet last month saying it violated its airspace.

“It’s just ridiculous that it’s the NHS versus Justin Bieber, but that’s all in the jolliness of it. You don’t expect an NHS choir to make the top 40 so to be honest, we’re [already] massively pleased”.

During his Twitter campaign to get the choir to the top of the chart, Bieber told his 72million followers: ‘I’m hearing this UK Christmas race is close… but the NHS Choir single is for charity. A massive cheer for the NHS, thank you!’ Their choral performance of “A Bridge Over You” a blended cover of Bridge over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel and Fix You by Coldplay is breathtaking.

The Canadian pop star’s “Love Yourself’” was inching ahead in sales but then Bieber offered his own Christmas gift to the NHS Choir.

But at lunchtime on Christmas Day, they were gathered together to discover whether the impossible could come true – a number one festive hit…

The singer has scored the biggest selling album of Christmas week for 2015.

Her cover of Bob Dylan’s Forever Young dropped three places since entering the chart last week – meaning it is likely to be the first X Factor winner’s single to fail to reach the top spot.
