Niantic wants to roll out Pokemon GO in 200 markets soon: CEO

Pokemon GO worldwide release has been delayed, according to recent reports, and fans of the game may have to wait for a while before it launches in their country. He also declared that the gaming servers are being revamped to facilitate the upcoming load. This combination of the 20-year-old Pokémon franchise with modern day Virtual Reality simulation has proved to be extremely successful. “We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment”.

Despite launching only in a handful of countries, people around the globe have gone insane for the game.

He declined to go into a detailed timeframe for further rollouts but noted that the company’s first location-based augmented reality game Ingress had taken a month or two to reach that number of markets.
