Nick Alexander of UK Feared to be Victim in Paris Terror Attacks

Mr Alexander, from Colchester, was selling merchandise at the Eagles of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan concert hall, where at least 80 people were killed by several gunmen.

The deadliest attack was at the Bataclan, a popular venue where Californian rock group Eagles of Death Metal was performing.

“He was one of the best people I knew and I still can’t wrap my head around it. RIP Nick, you truly were one in a million”.

British man Nick Alexander has been confirmed as the first United Kingdom victim of the Paris terror attacks.

(CNN)In the aftermath of the devastating terror attacks on Paris on Friday, the identifies of a few of the victims are slowly becoming known.

Among others who lost their lives were Djamila Houd, 41, of Paris, who was reportedly killed in a cafe, and Alberto Gonzalez Garrido, 29, of Madrid, who died at the Bataclan.

Gill Alexander, from Harrogate, north Yorkshire, said on Twitter that four of her daughter’s friends had attended the gig and two had been killed.

The newspaper serving Dreux – L’Echo Republicain – said she was killed at a cafe on the rue de Charrone. I was coming back home and heard the news.

British nationals are being advised by the Foreign Office to exercise caution in public places and follow the advice of the local authorities.

They later said she was among the victims of the Bataclan attack.

All seven of the gunmen either blew themselves up or were shot dead by security forces. They were not seeking to harm anyone, they were simply going about their way of life – our way of life.

“They were killed and injured by brutal and callous murderers who want to destroy everything our two countries stand for: peace, tolerance, liberty”. The fact that he seems to have given his life to save another will be a lasting testament to what a lovely guy he was’.

Wilson said her and Alexander were together “many years ago and it didn’t work out”. I hold out hope that as many people as possible make it out ok, as well.

He told the French people: “Your pain is our pain, your fight is our fight”.

The City of London Corporation said Tower Bridge would be lit in the colours of the Tricolour from sundown on Saturday.

At the end of the tour, after a five-hour concert in King’s Cross featuring the likes of Baaba Maal and Paul McCartney, Nick came over to say thanks for letting him join a joyful event.
