Nick Carter Just Brought Backstreet Back in a Major Way on DWTS
As many BSB fans know, Nick’s childhood was not all that great thanks to a broken family.

This Monday night was finally the night as Carter and his professional partner Sharna Burgess performed a jazz routine to “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”.
Nick’s most memorable year was when he was 12 years old and first met the rest of the Backstreet Boys.
After the performance, Carter said of his “DWTS” experience, “I think it’s helping me grow as a human being – it’s about being strong in the moment and being able to overcome adversity”. Even though it’s been 19 years since the song was released (yes, for real, the song was released in 1996), Nick proves Backstreet’s back alright!
“There was a lot of fighting in our household and it broke my heart…”
“That was the year my life changed forever”, he elaborated to Us Weekly.

Headed into next week, we have the “Switch Up” which is hard because I don’t get to dance with Nick for a week. “Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am right now”. While you won’t see them in this clip, his former bandmates Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, and AJ McLean appeared in a pre-taped package for the show.
