Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Reveal First Single From ‘Skeleton Tree’

Ahead of the screenings, Cave and co have released the video for new track “Jesus Alone”, the footage of which will feature in the film.

Rockland – Australian alternative rock icons Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will reveal their new album “Skeleton Tree” with the worldwide screening debut of their feature film “One More Time With Feeling”.

Launching globally on September 8, the film was originally intended as a one night only event.

Nick Cave appears to address the death of his 15-year-old son head-on in the first track released from his upcoming 16th album with the Bad Seeds, Skeleton Tree. The follow-up to 2013’s Push the Sky Away is available for pre-order now via the official Nick Cave website, where you can also purchase tickets for One More Time With Feeling.

The first piece of music taken from the forthcoming album Skeleton Tree. It’s a hypnotic six-minute long song and the video is a simple black & white clip of Cave and the band performing the song in the studio. Interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds’ filmed performance of the new album are interviews and footage shot by Dominik, accompanied by Cave’s intermittent narration and improvised rumination.
