Nick Gordon found legally responsible for Kristinas death
Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown – the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown – has been held “legally responsible” for her death after being a no-show in court for a second time.

According to USA Today, the ruling from a Georgia court comes after the conservator of Bobbi’s estate filed a wrongful death civil lawsuit against Gordon in 2015.
Brown was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub on January 31, 2015 face-down after taking a deadly mix of drugs. She was later found unresponsive and was rushed to an Atlanta-area hospital, where she remained in a coma for six months. “Brown died due to a violent altercation with [Gordon] after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture”.
There have been no criminal charges filed against Gordon. Investigators said her death was caused by immersion in water and a combination of drugs. They may also not want to spend the money on a lawyer in a civil case where there’s no right to a court-appointed defense attorney. “But all the judgments in the world won’t bring Krissy back”, a Brown family source tells PEOPLE.
“In court today, we finally finished a long journey for justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown”, the lawyer told the outlet.
Although the Brown family’s suit asked for $50 million in damages, the judge presiding over the case will determine the amount to be awarded to Brown’s estate.
“You can’t ignore the court process, especially when you are accused of having engaged in this sort of horrific conduct”, Ware said in a phone interview, “You have to give account, and Mr. Gordon chose to thumb his nose at the court process and the court has finally said that he must pay”. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said in an emailed statement that his office continues to investigate the case.

In light of Gordon’s absence, the Fulton County judge said anything alleged by Brown’s defense would be “admitted through omission”. They should have gotten him.
