Nickelback’s world tour is required to sweep through North American again in early 2016, but there’s no news on whether the cancelled dates will be rearranged.

Kroger will have surgery in three weeks and will bear to rest after, the band wrote in a statement.

The band expects Kroeger to be ready for a European run beginning in Finland on September 30 when they’ll be backed by Hamilton rock band Monster Truck. “We completely understand people will be upset about this but unfortunately I don’t know what you do in these situations. ‘I am banking on my doctor and his team to help bring my voice back in serious pattern as quickly as possible’”. Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase. The North American tour will resume in 2016.

The band is based in Vancouver, Canada. The band’s original domestic signing was with EMI Canada. They later got an American deal with worldwide distribution via Roadrunner Records. Since the release of their seventh album, the band parted from EMI Canada and signed a new Canadian domestic distribution deal with Universal Music Canada.
