Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande Perform at Time 100 Gala
On Tuesday night, both Joe Biden and Donald Trump were honored at the Time 100 Gala, and Nicki Minaj made a decision to dedicate her hit song “Anaconda” to both of the men, while shouting them out in the verses. When it came time to perform her monolithic tribute to the power of the butt, “Anaconda”, she gave two politicians a little shout-out. The rapper performed her hits, “The Crying Game”, “Feeling Myself” and “Truffle Butter”.

What a time to be alive.
Still, Trump remained top of mind, as Caitlyn Jenner mentioned the buzzy bathroom bill and how the GOP candidate told her to use any bathroom she wanted to while in the Trump Tower.
The song was Anaconda and she incorporated Trump’s name in the first verse and Biden’s name in the second verse.
Nicki Minaj brought the house down and too bad that Donald Trump was not there to see it. According to her own calculations, her last release, 2014’s The Pinkprint, sold upwards of three million copies and there is no denying her star power.
Here’s the (apparent) backstory: Trump – also included on TIME’s extensive list of influencers – walked the event’s pre-show red carpet, where he was asked by Access Hollywood if he was a Nicki Minaj fan.
‘One thing I learned along the way in business is the necessity for you to be unapologetic about asking for how much money you deserve, ‘ she said.

Nicki also had a message for all the women in the house, saying “If you don’t need a man to buy you a vehicle or a house, make some muthafuckin’ noise”. She has gone through horrifying things, even within her marriage.
