Nico Gerard watch comes with Apple Watch on the back

If you fancy splashing out a serious amount of cash on a rather silly looking premise, then Nico Gerard is now taking preorders, with the watches shipping in the next 10 to 12 months.

Nico Gerard created the Pinnacle collection that has an analog watch on one side and an Apple Watch mutated into the backside of the band finally solving a problem that nobody has.

The luxury watch is an extraordinary two-faced affair, with a 41mm analogue watch on the “front” and a 38mm Apple Watch around the back – although you can obviously choose to have whichever face you want facing upwards.

Are you a secret agent who has to use a regular timepiece to blend in, but flip to your Apple Watch to alert the chief that the deed has been done? The watch is Swiss and called Pinnacle.

Yes, that’s right – a double-sided watch.

We’re not sure if Nico Gerard’s watch is officially endorsed by Apple, but the watchmaker has certainly adopted the mothership’s penchant for pretentious marketing waffle. Other features include a date indicator, water resistance to 100m depths, and a stainless steel case with a black or blue dial. What if we told you that you could have both on the same wrist? Do you have a spare $112,000 laying around to spend on a watch instead of buying something practical like a Tesla? They include price points of about $9,300 for the Pinnacle and Skyview Pinnacle models.

The Apple Watch Edition garners awe in all the various forms. The high end 18 karat gold version, Sunrise Pinnacle, which is limited and only 88 will be made – probably for the best, is going to run you the most at $112,000. Also, the watch on the inside could easily get scratched.
