Nicolas Cage returns stolen dinosaur skull
But a new report today combining the being of pure light we have dubbed Nicolas Cage with a stolen dinosaur skull and the government of the sparsely populated Asian landmass Mongolia is on an entirely different level, joining together an unprecedented three freakish components to form a headline that me and the other people who make a living making fun of weird headlines could only dream of.

The Face/Off star, who reportedly outbid fellow actor Leonardo DiCaprio to buy the skull, was keen to help after hearing of the item’s history.
A civil forfeiture complaint was submitted by Manhattan US attorney, Preet Bharara, to initiate the repatriation process.
The actor bought a skull similar to this one in 2007.
Because he is turning over the skull after learning of its circumstances, he will not be charged with a crime.
Nicolas and the gallery are not accused of any wrongdoing.
U.S. authorities first contacted the Hollywood star in July 2014, informing him that the 67-million-year-old skull may have been stolen.
It is not clear if Cage’s dinosaur skull is connected to Prokopi. A representative did not return a request for comment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Martin Bell, who prosecuted Prokopi, was also the lead government lawyer in the Cage case, according to court records. More than a dozen dinosaur fossils have been returned since 2012, including a nest of dinosaur eggs and three full Tyrannosaurus bataar skeletons. Its remains have been discovered only in Mongolia, which criminalized the export of dinosaur fossils in 1924.

“Each of these fossils represents a culturally and scientifically important artifact looted from its rightful owner”, Bharara said last week.
