Nigeria drop 7 places to 14th spot in Africa
The Indian football team jumped six places by virtue of its 1-0 win over Guam in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers to be at 166th in the year-ending FIFA rankings issued today.

As for the United Kingdom’s teams, England remained at ninth but Wales who rose to eighth in the month of October, dropped seven places last month and now have lost two more places to finish 2015 as the 17th ranked football team.
Northern Ireland are down one place from 29th while Scotland suffered the biggest fall of the home nations – slipping eight places to 52nd.
World Cup 2014 runners-up Argentina moved up a spot to the second, displacing reigning world champions Germany, who dropped to fourth.
Belgium will end the year as the world’s top-ranked team.
At the summit, Belgium lead the way while Argentina, Spain, Germany and Chile make up the top five.
Brazil moved up two spots into sixth, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal dropped three places into seventh.

Turkey (21st) receive the award for FIFA’s Best Mover of the Year thanks to the 329 points they collected over the last 12 months.
