Nigeria Says It Seizes $10.3 Billion in Looted Money, Assets
An online medium had announced some weeks back that Buhari was suffering from ear infection, when he sent the Vice president, Yemi Osinbanjo to represent him on a much publicised expected visit to Lagos.

President Muhammadu Buhari will take ten days off and travel to London on Monday, June 6, 2016, to rest.
Buhari, however, assured the Anglican Bishops of his steadfast commitment to the rescue of the Chibok girls, saying that their safe return would be one of his greatest fulfillment in office as President.
“Is there anybody that doesn’t fall sick?”.
When asked what his message to Nigerians would be at this time, Buhari simply said, “I have already told Nigerians that I am going for 10 days to get my ear checked”.
Adesina said the president stated this during a meeting with archbishops of the Church of Nigeria.
Mr Buhari, in a speech delivered on his behalf to the Nigeria Medical Association in April, said the government’s hard-earned cash would not be spent on treating officials overseas, especially when Nigeria had the expertise. Buhari said in answer to a question by journalists who struggled to take parting photographs.
“During the holiday, the president will see an ear, nose and throat specialist for a persistent ear infection”.
“Nigerian physicians have looked at it and they said, ‘you are going to United Kingdom, now that you will be there let specialists look at the ear”.
On account of the foregoing, I humbly and passionately appeal to Mr. President to show committed leadership by urgently rethinking the planned foreign medical travel and exploring the above suggested options of getting treated here in Nigeria. If he is ill, it presupposes that there are certain things that he can not do.
“As a human being, yes he can rest”.
The President had earlier embarked on a six-day vacation between February 5 and 10. He is taking another 10 days now that means 15 days leave in one year. As a trained medical specialist, I believe that those ENT specialists/medical experts (and many others in Nigeria) who handled my situation then are skilled enough, and with the right equipment in place can handle any complicated ENT problem in Nigeria.

Many think news of their president’s illness should have first come from an official source rather the grapevine.
