Nikki Haley didn’t deny that America has passed racist laws

Of course, as you know, Nikki Haley was born to immigrant parents, but she was actually born in SC.

“I’m not sure why she needed to do that because it very well could be Donald Trump may be the nominee and if he is, then we need to unite behind him”, Huckabee said Wednesday.

She’s big on amnesty but very weak on illegal immigration. But former HP chief executive Carly Fiorina argued that Americans have a right to be angry about issues such as illegal immigration.

And apparently it’s an emotion that Nikki Haley, the governor of SC, the Republican governor, also feels because in her response to President Obama’s State of the Union, she also brought up the divisiveness in this country, and she seemed to single out Donald Trump.

She faced a backlash from some conservatives, who interpreted her remarks as a call for unlimited legal immigration into the country, something they reject.

Haley acknowledged on Wednesday morning that she was referring to Trump when she warned Americans not to follow the angriest voices in politics.

“The only way to keep out Muslims terrorists is to keep out Muslim immigrants”, she said.

But I guess now that I’m running (for President), she doesn’t like me quite as much. “I do think it’s important that Americans know that difference”.

After host Costello noted that Governor Haley is a “conservative” who is “supported by the Tea Party”, Shachtman brought up fascism as he responded: “Yeah, she’s super-conservative, but she doesn’t want the Republican party to turn into a white nationalist, to turn into a kind of fascist party”.

Later she told CNN that she considered Trump a friend and urged the billionaire not to take her comments personally and said that she also had concerns about some of his rivals.

Conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham tweeted, “The country is lit up w/a populist fever & the GOP (Republican) responds by digging in, criticizing the GOP candidates dominating polls?!” He supported me in both campaigns, but just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean you’re not a friend. Asked if he would want Haley as the face of the party King said laughingly: “I think she’s lovely so I’d be happy if she’s the face of the party”. “It’s certainly that, but her speech last night sort of expanded the theme of who is and who isn’t qualified to be a Republican, and the Republican Party is still anti-conservative”, Limbaugh said.
