Last night, Haley and Rubio sat down for an interview with Fox News Greta Van Susteran to discuss the endorsement and the current state of the race.

Mrs Haley, one of the state’s most popular Republicans, endorsed Mitt Romney for president in 2012.
“I said he’s been lying because if you say something that isn’t true and you say it over and over again and you know that it’s not true, there’s no other word for it”, Rubio said at a CNN town hall meeting.
Even in SC, where the Republican presidential primary is scheduled for Saturday Rubio (16.8 per cent) is placed third after Trump (34.5 per cent) and Cruz (17.3 per cent).
Later in the day, at Mutts BBQ in Easley, South Carolina, Lee told the crowd that he was “pitching” Cruz to be their “chief executive”.

Haley is the daughter of Indian immigrants; Rubio is the son of Cuban immigrants.
Trump continues to lead in the SC polls, garnering 35 percent support, according to the Real Clear Politics average. “Some people think that you have to be the loudest voice in the room to make a difference”.
Both candidates are signaling to their party bases that voters needn’t choose between ideological compatibility and practical electability – Rubio and Clinton are one-stop shop candidates.
That message has become increasingly prominent on the campaign trail and in the conversation around Rubio. The truth is Marco Rubio is a rock-solid conservative. “She’s a great person”.
Speaking to reporters in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, on Wednesday, the Florida senator continued to push a narrative that his senate colleague does whatever is politically expedient.

Haley’s endorsement of Rubio was a blow to the candidacy of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, coming two days after Bush’s brother, former President George W. Bush, met with Haley privately in the state capital, Columbia.
