“If you do that you start to gain respect, you start to find yourself being on the same level as them and probably going past them”.

In the two Tests, Jason Holder has played against Australia, he has managed to pick just three wickets.

Pacemen James Pattinson and Nathan Coulter-Nile have been added to the Australia squad for next week’s first Test against West Indies.

James Pattinson has retained his place in the 12-man squad and is the likely replacement in the XI for Mitchell Starc, who has a stress fracture in his right foot.

Scott Boland is on standby.

Coulter-Nile, 28, has been included despite not playing any Sheffield Shield matches so far this summer.

Boland will play for Victoria in their Sheffield Shield game starting this Sunday unless required in the Test squad.

However, there are few certainties regarding Australia’s attack as Marsh attempts to recharge his depleted pace battery.

Siddle’s scans showed no serious injury and he is expected to join the squad in Hobart. “I really don’t see question marks and I hope the players aren’t thinking that way either because that is negative”, said Richardson on Tuesday (December 1).

“We’ve got to get on with it”.

“I heard about it, I’ve never seen snow so I’m looking forward to it”, Holder laughed.

Since then, they have lost ten of the 11 Tests played there, a dismal record which has coincided with their slide precariously close to the bottom of the ICC Test rankings.

He only recently resumed bowling after a shoulder injury and has a history of hamstring trouble.

“A good result would do a lot for us back home”.

A Los Angeles Times report of April 2, 2006 cited an estimated aggregate cost of infrastructural upgrading exceeding US$800 million (J$96 billion currently). “I don’t think that will happen”.

“We do need a bit of pace”.

West Indies were also beaten 2-0 by Australia in the Test series when they hosted the 2015 World Cup champions in June this year.

Jackson Bird, who played the most recent of his three Tests in the 2013 Ashes, is back to full fitness but wasn’t seriously considered.

“They are the ones we are banking on to give the knowledge to the younger players that haven’t been here, but I think everyone has to take ownership over the next week so they know what to do when we get into the Test matches”, he said.

Despite his call-up Nathan Coulter Nile is unlikely to be picked for the first Test against the West Indies
