Bowie died of cancer at age 69 on January 10, with Duncan announcing on the first month anniversary of his father’s death that he is to become a dad.

Gaga channeled the many faces of David Bowie during her tribute to the singer at today’s Grammy Awards.

She knocked it out of the park.

Gaga dressed as David’s alter-ego Ziggy Stardust for her set on stage, wearing a sparkling white jumpsuit and her hair, dyed bright red, slicked back from her face.

Then she moved to a piano featuring hydraulics! However, seeing as the Grammys paid Adele an injustice with her technically ruined performance, it looks like Lady Gaga stole the show.

She also appeared in another promotional clip after the tribute discussing how Intel’s technology had helped her performance.

In 2008, in the liner notes of her album, “The Fame“, Gaga thanked David Bowie for inspiring her. A year later, she listed his single “Rebel Rebel” as one of her favorite pop songs of all time. Gaga shared photos of the experience on her social media page and it seems she wanted a piece of him to truly attached to her during her performance. I didn’t just buy his records.

David Bowie influenced so many various trends in music and fashion that we shall be grateful to him forever.

Taking to the red carpet, the 29-year-old donned a floor-length blue coat over… well, not much else.

He didn’t follow up the tweet with anything else about the Grammys or the performance, but the message was posted immediately following Gaga’s performance. Many were touched by her heartfelt and colourful rendition of Bowie’s best known tracks.
