Nintendo 2DS price drop brings handheld down to $99 next week

Nintendo has announced that their 2DS handheld will receive a price drop very soon. Nintendo has dropped the retail price of the 2DS – its dual-screen, non-3D handheld – from $130 to $100. Anyone planning to try out some 3DS games now that the 2DS has lowered its price? The system’s initial hefty price tag coupled with a lack of high quality exclusives kept it from flying off the shelves as previous Nintendo handhelds have done. It does, however, work with almost the entire library of 3DS games, and it also supports most of the games available on Nintendo’s first dual-screen portable, the Nintendo DS. To help you make a more informed decision, be sure to read our full review of the Nintendo 2DS here. The game is one part of the strong franchise, which also includes an animated TV show and robot model kits. Unlike the 3DS, the 2DS does not feature 3D technology. Tri Force Heroes, and Yo-kai Watch all before the end of 2015. All games are compatible with all Nintendo 3DS family systems, including Nintendo 2DS.
