You can also pre-register for Nintendo’s upcoming mobile app, Miitomo, an interactive social networking application based on the Mii IP launching in March 2016. Signing up is pretty straightforward, however, since the service isn’t fully operational for the time being there isn’t much to do.
Create a Nintendo Account before the launch of Miitomo and you’ll also receive Platinum Points for the new My Nintendo rewards programme, which will launch simultaneously with Miitomo. You need to head to miitomo.com, where you can register to be informed when the app is available on your respective phone’s app store.
Once your Mii has been created, friends can be added in person or through existing Facebook or Twitter accounts.
Users can quickly create a Mii character, customising its facial features, eyes, hair, as well as voice and personality.
And if that’s not enough, users can try out the Miifoto feature, which lets them put their Mii characters in fun poses and use cool stamps, or combine their Mii image with photos they have taken themselves. You can get clothing items with Miitomo coins, which you earn by playing Miitomo.
