Nintendo NX could be a unified console and 3DS-like mobile handheld

The maintenance will effect everything from the old Wii Shop Channel to online play on both the Wii U and 3DS consoles at various points over the two day period, which has a few fans guessing that its all in preparation for Nintendo to roll out their new online customer reward system, set to replace the late Club Nintendo which was discontinued earlier this year.

Nintendo, one of the world’s largest gaming companies, is said to be launching a new gaming console.

The NX is destined to be triumphant over the competition as Nintendo intends to stuff its flagship gaming device with “industry-leading and cutting-edge internal chips”. Allegedly, the company is starting to distribute the new gadget’s software development kit and said to be totally risky for its rivals, making it more powerful over its competitors.

“The exact shape of the NX hardware isn’t yet clear”. WSJ’s sources say the NX, which is still a working title, will come with a console and “at least one mobile unit that could either be used in conjunction with the console or taken on the road for separate use”.

Nintendo has done a good job of keeping their Nintendo NX console under the wraps for the past couple of months, however, alleged inside sources are opening up just a little bit about it. The NX will also reportedly use “industry-leading chips” in the devices that will presumably allow for better graphics and deeper functionality.

Devkits going out to studios fits approximately with Nintendo’s claim of revealing the console in 2016. But Nintendo promised to share more about the NX next year.

However, all this is unconfirmed news since Nintendo is yet to start talking about specs of their new console – until then, we suggest you take all this with the proverbial grain of salt.
