Nintendo of America “excited” to bring Devil’s Third to Wii U
This may be the craziest saga ever, but now in a turn of events, it looks like Nintendo of America IS publishing Devil’s Third. Devil’s Third spent some time on the Nintendo eShop before being taken down without explanation, and didn’t appear at E3. “My Will”. More information is set to be announced by July 15th according to the report, and we’ll keep you updated as it’s released. Allegedly, the game is not shaping up to be up to snuff for Nintendo, and more recently, a handful of European journalists suppposedly slammed the game during a testing session.

This would seem to suggest Devil’s Third will arrive in the West, one way or the other. Unseen 64 reported earlier in the week that Nintendo wished to distance itself from the title because of quality control and that the company had found a different partner to handle the release. He left Tecmo back in 2009, forming Valhalla Game Studios the same year. “It’s awful both as a shooter and as an action game, and you can definitely tell the development has been… troubled at best”.

Devil’s Third will be released on August 4 in Japan, and it will shortly follow on August 28 and 29 for Europe and Australia. While Valhalla is free to find another publisher, it may be a struggle given the game’s poor reception so far.
