Numerous rumors are turning up suggesting that a service to rival the Loot Crate is being planned.

MCV reports that this will feature toys, clothes and other merchandise that take inspiration from the company’s iconic characters.

For those of you who are interested, you guys will apparently be able to get subscribed to the service individually on a quarterly, biannual or annual basis. The Hut Group owns Zavvi and also operates Nintendo’s official online store, so it’s likely the N-box wouldn’t be available until October at the earliest so as not to compete with the company’s merchandising partner.

We had told you at the start of the month that Club Nintendo has been shutdown.

As with Loot Crate, N-Box will be a service offering three, six and 12 month subscriptions.

A Nintendo-specific Z-Box is also set to launch in September.

Nintendo has yet to comment on the publication’s claims, and the site’s source did not reveal pricing or any formal launch date beyond ‘shortly.’.
