Shigeru Miyamoto, the designer of Super Mario Bros. and The Legend Of Zelda, took to the stage yesterday to share news of his new game, in association with Apple, Super Mario Run.

It is an endless runner game, with similar styling to the classic 2D platform games starring the plump plumber.
The new game isn’t available yet and the App store has it listed as coming soon. Unveiled today during Apple’s Special Event today in San Francisco, Super Mario Run will be available to download for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad this December.
Miyamoto also revealed that it will be sold for a one-off fee. For the very first time, the game can be played one-handedly, which will surely make it instantly popular among users. Parents will certainly approve. The good news if you don’t have an iPhone is that Super Mario Run will get an Android release date.
Super Mario Run will be out this holiday season.
Even if this is your first Mario game, you won’t be able to put it down!
This isn’t Nintendo’s first stab at mobile gaming – Nintendo released Miitomo on the App Store early this year, but it had a lukewarm reception. Features: In this game, you constantly move forward through the courses while using a variety of jumps to navigate. There is also Toad Tally where you can challenge other players. This sees players competing against their friends in collecting the most Toad fans in an arena.

Just like the traditional 2D Mario level, players will collect coins as many as they can in a set of time, before they reach the flagpole at the end of the game.
