The 2017 Nissan GT-R will feature major updates ever since the auto got introduced 9 years ago in 2007. The announcement came on Thursday by the company where interested customers can pre-order a 2017 Nissan GT-R by paying a deposit of Rs 25 lakh. However, it keeps holding the brand name GT-R components, including the 8-inch touchscreen with an apparently interminable measure of live information on the auto – everything from ground forces to throttle position and gearbox oil temperature.
Even in Australia’s Luxury Car Tax-inflicted market, which essentially gouges buyers 33 cents in every dollar above $63,184, the GT-R is much cheaper than its most immediate rivals, like the Porsche 911 Turbo, Mercedes-AMG GT S, Aston Martin Vantage and upcoming Jaguar F-TYPE SVR.
The selective Sports vehicle GT-R is fueled by a 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbocharged motor which can create 552 bhp at 6,800 rpm and 632 Nm of torque.
In August, Nissan also increased its ranking to second place in the annual J.D. Power 2016 India Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study, with a score of 831 out of the 1000 point scale. Handcrafted by master craftsmen in Japan called Takumi, in a clean-room environment, the GT-R’s engine comes mated with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that transmits the power to all-four wheels.

Caruso will drive with 2015 Nissan PlayStation GT Academy International victor Matt Simmons, who has spent 2016 racing a GT-R NISMO GT3 in the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup in Europe. In India, after all the taxes, the GT-R’s cost should land between Rs 1.5-2 crore.
