Nitish Kumar to take oath as CM on November 20
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be attending Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony on November 20. He had addressed eight rallies in favour of secular alliance candidates during the poll campaign. The Prime Minister addressed no less than 30 election rallies and BJP president Amit Shah 76 in the course of the campaign.

The official guest list has names of nine Chief Ministers, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, her Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
When asked whether Congress should participate in Nitish Kumar government or not, party General Secretary Shakeel Ahmed, a senior leader from Bihar who was a minister from Congress in the RJD-led government in the past, said,”My personal view is that we should participate in the government”.
Nitish will be taking oath as the chief minister of Bihar for the 4th time on November 20 will witness convergence of non-BJP parties. Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul too will be present on the occasion. There will be 16 ministers from Lalu Prasad’s RJD, 15 from the JD-U and five from the Congress in the new government, said sources.
