Nitish’s Bihar CM oath likely on Nov 20
“Invitations have also been sent to all non-NDA chief ministers, including J Jayalalithaa and Naveen Patnaik, and prominent leaders of nearly all the national parties for the ceremony at which JD (U)’s Nitish Kumar will be administered oath at the historic Patna Gandhi Maidan where JP had launched his “Sampoorn Kranti” movement in 1974″, a JD (U) MLA-elect said, adding the event would mark the beginning of a new era in the country’s politics. He substantiated his plea by saying that every action has its own reaction and BJP has done the same. Meanwhile, Nitish also said that the process to form new government in the state will begin on 14 November.

Kumar said that after Saturday’s legislature party meeting, the alliance would formally stake claim to forming the government. On Wednesday, CM Nitish met the Governor Kovind to greet him on the occasion of Diwali festival.
Both LJP chief and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan and Manjhi, considered top Dalit leaders in Bihar, have failed to attract Dalit voters into the BJP-led NDA fold. Describing this episode as an internal matter of the BJP, he recalled an old slogan “Atal, Advani aur Murli Manohar, Bhajpa (read BJP) ke teen Dharohar”.
Though the decision to this effect will be taken by the Chief Minister but the date seems likely, he said. State administration has already started preparation for his oath taking ceremony. “This cost the BJP-led NDA and ensured the victory of the Grand Alliance candidates”, Mahender Yadav, a political activist said.

It is yet to be decided as to which constituent party would the Speaker be from and if Lalu Prasad’s son Tejaswi would be made the Deputy Chief Minister.
