Mr Yadav’s son Tejaswi Yadav was sworn in as the deputy chief minister.

Ministers from RJD who took oath are Tejaswi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Alok Kumar Mehta, Chandrika Rai, Ram Vichar Rai, Shiv Chandra Ram, Abdul Gafoor, Chandrasekhar, Munneshwar Chaudhary, Anita Devi and Vijay Prakash. The coalition of RJD-JD(U)-Congress has won an impressive 178 of 243 Bihar Assembly seats and RJD had taken the lion’s share of seats.

From Congress, state party chief Ashok Choudhary, Madan Mohan Jha, Abdul Jalil Mastan and Awdesh Kumar Singh will be sworn in, said state party sources.
