A 20-year-old man fell to his death after climbing scaffolding part of the way to the top of New York’s luxurious Four Seasons Hotel, police said on Thursday. Cummings slipped as he took panoramic photos in the rain, and fell to a rooftop on the 43rd floor.
Police say Cummings and another man had gotten access to a roof at the hotel and were trying to shoot photos of the skyline.
Neither he nor his friend was a guest at the hotel. She also said the family was still trying to figure out how the entire thing transpired. The young man’s aunt however feels like the whole incident doesn’t add up.
‘And, I know the medical examiner was up there.
“He was a loving boy, that’s all I can say”, the relative said.
The New York man is not the only one to have fallen to death while trying to scale down a building’s exterior in recent times.
The pair had used the scaffolding outside the hotel to climb up.
