Jalen Jones scored 20 points and Davis tied a season-high with 18 to lead No. 10 Texas A&M to a 71-57 victory over LSU, extending the Aggies’ winning streak to nine games.

Flawless execution was but a dream when LSU’s guards consistently took bad angles trying to feed passes to the post, resulting in a nice chunk of the Tigers’ 19 turnovers vs. A&M that sailed untouched out-of-bounds. The Aggies took advantage from there led by Jalen Jones 20 points.

Tim Quarterman led LSU (11-7, 4-2 SEC) with 12 points.

During the Tigers’ comeback victory over Arkansas last Saturday, they erased a five-point deficit with 6:27 remaining by finishing the game on a 16-9 run.

Jones averages 17.2 points and 7.0 rebounds, while House gets 15.9 points and 4.8 rebounds.

“He’s grown up some, but he came in here pretty good, ” Kennedy said. His selections are Texas A&M as a No. 3 seed, Kentucky as a No. 5 seed, SC as a No. 7 seed, and Florida as a No. 10 seed. Texas A&M mounted a mild rally late to take a 38-34 halftime lead. They know he has no confidence in his outside shot, even a mid-range jumper.

Guard Admon Gilder came off the bench to add 13 points for A&M. Totals 28-58 9-15 71. He had 10 points in the first half, including a dunk midway through the first period to put LSU up by five.

Quarterman was 5-of-10 from the field and Antonio Blakeney was 3-of-6, but the rest of the team was 14-of-43. “But the second half, we were shooting the ball a little early and not allowing ourselves to get into the clock to force their defense to have to work. He had to play cautious with four fouls, and that’s not a good recipe for us”.
