Redshirt sophomore Ty Isaac and junior Derrick Green were not with the team during pregame warmups Saturday prior to a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Indiana. Handling IN was one of the few things that went right for MI IN Big Ten play last season.
To help shore up the defense, Henry Poggi, a former defensive lineman who moved to tight end, and Tom Strobel, an offensive/defensive lineman, warmed up with the defense before the IN game and are expected to play on defense.
Also of note: MI traveled four quarterbacks to IN – Jake Rudock, Wilton Speight, Shane Morris and Alex Malzone.

ABOUT INDIANA (4-5, 0-5 Big Ten): Nate Sudfeld set a new program record when he threw the 49th touchdown pass of his career in the loss to Iowa and he will be one of the players honored on Senior Day at Memorial Stadium. Jordan Howard piled up 174 rushing yards and two scores. Under Jim Harbaugh the Wolverines want to establish the run game but they really did not run it effectively against Rutgers last week. IN likes the big-play offense they bring to the field, but MI can string together drives with first downs and take the Hoosier offense out of the game.
