No. 24 Toledo tops Kent State 38-7 with tough ground game
Playing as a ranked team for the first time in three years, No. 24 Toledo recovered from an early mistake and rolled to a 38-7 win over Kent State in a Mid-American Conference game on Saturday at the Glass Bowl.The Rockets (5-0, 2-0 MAC) fell behind 7-0 in the first quarter before taking command and winning their eighth straight game.

Mid-American Conference power Toledo aims to move to a flawless 5-0 on the season with the possibility of climbing the Associated Press Top 25 College Football poll when the Rockets host the Kent State Golden Flashes in the Glass Bowl today.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Thomas Sperbeck caught two long touchdown passes and sophomore Jeremy McNichols scored his 13th and 14th TDs of the season, leading No. 25 Boise State past Colorado State.
