From the looks of it, it seems that the Rio opening ceremonies will be one to watch – and rewatch.

Yacoubou adds “it’s kind of special that we face each other first”.

English Premier League side and North London giants Tottenham Hotspur have conveyed their best wishes to the Indian contingent for the Rio Olympics 2016.

If your country isn’t listed above, check this handy resource to see what channels the Olympics will be on.

Soccer: This is the second day for women’s soccer and the United States team is facing France at 4 p.m. on NBC.

Search results will also link to additional information on NBCOlympics.com – such as bios, medal counts, and individual sport pages – that is related to the original search. To see which channels will show each specific event, check here. Every Olympic event will be streamed on the site, and you can also use the NBC Sports app to connect the stream to Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, Xbox.

NBC Sports Network will cover more than 20 sports, more than any other network, from August 6th to August 21st.

NBC will broadcast the opening ceremony on a one-hour tape delay because it wants the entertainment spectacle to be shown completely in USA prime time. NBC will also broadcast 100 hours of events in virtual reality, but only for those with Samsung Galaxy phones compatible with Gear VR. The most useful for English-speaking Americans are Canada’s CBC and the UK’s BBC. NBC Universal will be broadcasting most of the games live thanks to the one-hour time difference between Rio and the Eastern Time Zone. Cable and satellite subscribers can help themselves to the website.

Cord-cutters, this section is for you.

A cheaper way to watch the Olympics without subscribing to conventional TV services is to use either the Sling TV or Playstation Vue Internet TV networks.

Well, if you have a TV, but no cable box, you could plug in an antenna to your television and watch the coverage on NBC or Telemundo for free.

Pros: NBC will be streaming 4,500 hours of programming, including matches and games not aired on TV. Sling TV has more than 40 channels in its Sling Blue $25 monthly plan, including live NBC broadcasts in 10 markets (Chicago, Dallas, Fort Worth, Hartford, Conn., Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego and Washington) and NBCSN, Bravo and USA.

But I – like a growing number of Americans – am forgoing expensive cable subscriptions to be a cordcutter, opting for a wide variety of online streaming options from Netflix, Hulu and YouTube to “skinny bundles” of channels like Sling TV or PlayStation Vue.

The Telemundo Deportes app has Telemundo’s coverage to go. Playstation Vue is more expensive, but also more comprehensive. It’s like that time Urkel got a big screen just to watch the Super Bowl and return it the next day, only there is no concern that you’ll trip and break it.
