The court observed that the exercise undertaken by the Governor to advance the Assembly session is in violation of the Constitution.

The Governor said they have legal option to challenge his order.

“This act of the Governor in requesting the Home Ministry and deploying CRPF and ITBP forces is subversion of Constitutional authority vested with the democratically elected Government of Arunachal Pradesh”, it added. It further said that Gabriel D Wangsu and Wanglam Sawin were not entitled to take part in the proceedings of the house till High Court hearing scheduled for December 16.
