No cricket ties with Pakistan as of now: BCCI
The Gurdaspur terror attack seems to have proven that Pakistan doesn’t want to carry on any good relations with India neither at border nor on Cricket ground.

The BCCI Secretary in a strongly worded message to Pakistan said that lives of Indians are of paramount importance and that no cricket ties can be made under the present terror situation.
Thakur asserted that there were many issues that need to be resolved before the resumption of the highly anticipated series between India and Pakistan.
After the fresh attacks performed by the Pakistani terrorists on Indian soil, India-Pakistan Cricket series which was planned to be held in December this year has nearly been thrown into a garbage bin. “I understand a sport is a different thing, but our internal security is important”, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur told TOI in a brief interaction on Monday.
Pakistan has condemned the terrorist attack with the Foreign Office extending “deepest condolences to the government and people of India”. “The BCCI has never doubted the fact that they have signed an MoU in which we play five series with India over the next eight years. If we don’t clear those issues, it would not be possible to enter that territory”, he said.
As per the ICC’s Future Tours Programme, India was scheduled to play a series against Pakistan at a neutral venue, reports said.

He also said that if Pakistan feels that Cricket can bring peace between the two countries when the terror activities are being operated continuously, they are completely wrong. In ODIs, the teams have met largely in ICC events and the Asia Cup since then.
