No Criminal Charges Expected in Disappearance of Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter
Barnegat Township police don’t often get involved with celebrities, but on August 18, they got word from authorities in New York state that the missing 17-year-old daughter of actress/comedian Rosie O’Donnell could be in their community.

Her spokesperson, Cindi Berger, said Chelsea suffers from mental illness and had not been taking her medication.
James Coyle, a South Nyack Police Department detective, told The Washington Post that luckily, Chelsea was found safe and sound in New Jersey. In the interim, Chelsea made contact with third parties, so police “didn’t believe that there was any immediate danger”, Wilson said.
She added, “She’s still a child, and she’s on her way from the police headquarters”.
Chelsea, who contacted friends to tell them that she was in good condition, didn’t disclose her whereabouts to anyone until Tuesday, Wilson said.
Stay with the Inquisitr as more information on the reunion between Rosie O’Donnell and her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell becomes available. After the man denied Chelsea was at the residence, cops insisted they weren’t going to leave without her, at which point the teenager emerged.
“Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness“.
“Chelsea has been found and is safe in police custody – thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren”, she wrote late Tuesday.
The former View host, 53, also tweeted about her beloved daughter, writing, “chelsea and her dog bear – last seen in nyack New York”, along with a photo of the two.

Officers went on to say that the reunion was nothing special, calling it “vanilla” and “neutral” without any hostility. “She’s really not well”, O’Donnell explained.
