No deal between Mourinho and Manchester United, insists Mendes
Supporters have become disenchanted with the Dutchman’s playing style and he was barracked by disgruntled fans as he strode down the Old Trafford touchline following Saturday’s setback against the newly promoted Canaries.

That run could well be extended with Manchester United facing a hard fixture list over the congested Christmas period.
Mata and Herrera are said to be among those who feel stifled by Van Gaal’s tactics and are concerned about what the future holds for them.
Does Van Gaal deserve to keep his job until the end of the season? Is firing Van Gaal and hiring Mourinho to replace him not an exchange of like for like?
Unsurprisingly, Mourinho has been touted as a potential replacement for his former Barcelona manager, although Pep Guardiola is also being linked with the United role.
According to Carragher, who spoke on Sky Sports Monday Night Football, hiring Mourinho will be a show of desperation on United’s part.
Van Gaal, meanwhile, will conduct his pre-match news conference as normal this afternoon as pressure on his position intensifies.
And now with change seemingly imminent, it is widely reported that Manchester United football club is considering the option of acquiring the services of former Chelsea football club coach, Jose Mourinho.
Speaking after the defeat to Norwich, Van Gaal insisted he had the backing of the vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the players.
Neville added: “I was at United as a player for nine years and it wasn’t pretty every week”.
Jose Mourinho has always been an admirer of Manchester United and was tipped to take over from Sir Alex.
Van Gaal will face the media before United’s Stephens’ Day trip to Stoke, which suggests the Old Trafford hierarchy are not considering the axe just yet.

It is understood the United board were disappointed in particular at Van Gaal’s failure to lead the team through what was viewed as a relatively easy Champions League group containing PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and Wolfbsurg.
