Bergdahl was charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy in March, and the Army conducted a hearing on his case last month.

After being held by the Taliban from 2009 to 2014, Bergdahl was exchanged in a controversial deal for five Taliban commanders being held in the US prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The nearly hour-long rally spanned Trump’s insistence he would create jobs, foreign relations, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton and several other topics.

“I vote fort Mr. Trump“, she yelled. Myriam Witcher, 35, of Las Vegas, waved an issue of People magazine with Trump and his family on the cover, asking Trump to sign it.

Trump, who has come under fire for his comments about Hispanics, seemed to understand how it might be perceived.
