No Indian casualty in Saudi hospital fire

Informing the condition of Indian nurses and the patients in the hospital, MEA spokesperson, Vikas Swarup tweeted, “Update on Fire in Jizan Central Hospital, Saudi Arabia where 30 Indian nurses were on duty”.

The incident took place in the midnight of Thursday at intensive care and maternity departments of the Jazan General Hospital after which 25 succumbed.

Jazan is near the border with Yemen, which has seen months of fighting between Houthi rebels and Saudi-backed forces.
