In a post, an anonymous owner shared before and after images of a limited edition box to show not just a different PEGI rating but also an icon indicating that the game has “online play” features.

No Man’s Sky” is one of the most highly-anticipated video games of the summer – and it was created in a shed – by 15 people – in southern England.

Admittedly, developer Hello Games was soon to comment on the issue and confirmed that No Man’s Sky isn’t, in fact, an online multiplayer title.

What it can do is accommodate hundreds of players at the same time.

There’s been a great deal of confusion over the potential multiplayer aspects of No Man’s Sky.

Surely Hallo Games didn’t just put this in there as a joke? That too is unclear.

When the sticker is removed, it reveals a PEGI 12 rating, a warning for mild violence and the online play icon.

No Man’s Sky players are quite familiar with hearing the main mission of the game: To reach the center of the universe.

While remaining painfully vague on the matter, game creator Sean Murray has hinted that a form of multiplayer is in fact a possibility, even though the players who chose to meet up could not see eachother.

So, behold the 20 craziest species discovered so far. Unfortunately, they never saw each other – even when standing in the same spot.
