No Man’s Sky could have paid DLC according to Sean Murray

No Man’s Sky uses a physics engine called “Havok” and inside its licensing files it mentions the Xbox One. Microsoft demands that Xbox must have first or equal rights to a release date, making it very hard for Hello Games to release No Man’s Sky on PS4 and PC, before releasing it on Xbox One at a later date. Adding even more credence to the rumor, the game’s box doesn’t say PS4 exclusive on it.
While game developer Hello Games has rolled out the highly anticipated science fiction action adventure survival video game, “No Man’s Sky“, for PS4, PC and Steam, there’s now no word on when the game will get an Xbox One release date.
When Sean Murray was asked about whether No Man’s Sky will come to Xbox One, he gave quite a coy response. His presence in the files for No Man’s Sky, though, is a total mystery. That digital spelunking uncovered some freakish assets, as recapped by NeoGAF user dragonbane, including a monkey in a fex and what appears to be our main character riding a weird unicycle thing.
No Man’s Sky is a great game, don’t get us wrong- it’s an incredible experience unlike anything else in the industry, and the more time we spend with the game, the more we like it. Hello Games has been lambasted for removing multiplayer functionality from the title, along with a number of other post-release issues.

Chief among these is what your player model actually looks like, references to Half-Life 2, as well as a specific reference to an Xbox One version of the game. However, although the new game is very popular, it drew flak when fans experienced various glitches when they tried to play for the first time.
